Zebra is a very private lodge,
pleasurably cocooned by the close
proximity of the surrounding bush,
giving you the opportunity to feel
the pulse of mother nature.
Zebra Lodge is comfortably furnished
in warm, earthy colours. The lodge
is decorated in an African colonial
style paying attention to detail.
The lodge has 2 spacious bedrooms
comfortably furnished with queen
size beds. Each bedroom has an
ensuite bathroom offering the
convenience of a separate shower and
bath.
Bathrooms are lit with chandeliers,
so indulge in a long, relaxing bath
before slipping into the comfort of
percale linen and feel the intimacy
created by the canopied ,muslin
mosquito nets.
The bedrooms are decorated in
neutral colours, providing
tranquility and restfulness.

Big 5 lodge offers a
unique and unforgettable African
wildlife experience. This haven of
beauty and tranquility offers
fully-equipped, self-catering
accommodation for 10 guests at an
affordable price. Its unique layout
allows an intimate bird and animal
experience on the downstairs verandah.
Here you can be entertained by the
mischievous monkeys playing in the
trees. The strikingly beautiful zebra
and various antelope including kudu,
timid impala and shy bushbuck regularly
visit the lodge to drink from the
waterhole. Greedy warthogs wait
patiently for any scraps that might come
their way. Upstairs on the wooden deck
you can watch the animals discreetly
from above or you can climb up to the
viewing deck and marvel at the panoramic
views of the surrounding bushveld.
The lodge is a 5 minute walk from the
Crocodile River. It is here that you can
experience the excitement of seeing
Africa’s greatest wild animals, the Big
5. It includes the lion, considered the
king of beasts, the leopard regarded as
the silent hunter, the elephant
described as statuesque but graceful ,
the rhino with its dominant nose horn
and the powerful buffalo with its horns
of steel. The lodge is named after these
magnificent animals.
The thatched lodge is camouflaged under
a canopy of trees offering peacefulness
and privacy. It is ideally situated for
day trips to the Kruger National Park as
the nearest gate is only 18km away.
Big 5 Lodge sleeps 10. There are 3
bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedroom
downstairs :
